Extra Details:: The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the Hippo signaling pathway, which controls organ size and tumor growth by enhancing apoptosis. Loss of the encoded protein results in cell proliferation and cancer formation. The encoded protein is also involved in the control of microtubule stability during cytokinesis. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:200-1:400 ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
