Extra Details:: Beta-Lactoglobulin is the major whey protein of cow and sheep's milk (~3g/l), and is also present in many other mammalian species; a notable exception being humans. No clear function has been identified for Beta-lactoglobulin. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (coating): 1:100-1:500 ELISA (primary): 1:1000-1:30,000 Western Blot (colorimetric): 1:1000-1:10,000 Western Blot (chemiluminescent:): 1:1000-1:30,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:2000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
