Extra Details:: Adeno-associated virus (AAV) is a small virus which infects humans and some other primate species. AAV is not currently known to cause disease and consequently the virus causes a very mild immune response. AAV can infect both dividing and non-dividing cells and may incorporate its genome into that of the host cell. Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, Dot Blot, ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Cannot be used for immunoblotting using denaturing conditions. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Dot Blot: non-denaturing conditions Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
