Extra Details:
CD8 is a 32-34kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD8alpha forms either a homodimer (2 alpha chains) or a heterodimer with CD8beta and is expressed on the surface of cytotoxic T cells, NK cells, cortical thymocytes, and dendritic cells. CD8 functions as a co-receptor for T cell receptor and specifically binds to class I MHC for antigen recognition and T cell activation. 367144 specifically binds the alpha chain of human CD8. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤0.5ug/1x10e6 cells in 100ul of staining volume followed by any fluorescent conjugated streptavidin Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
