- Extra Details:
- 367109 binds with a single chain 70kD glycoprotein and identified as CD55 (also known as decay accelerating factor, DAF). CD55 is widely expressed on cells throughout the body including leukocytes, erythrocytes, epithelium, endothelium, and fibroblasts. It is a Glycosyl phosphatidylinositol anchored (GPI- anchored) protein and inhibits autologous complement cascade activation. CD55 also serves as receptor for CD97, echovirus and Coxsackie B virus. CD55 is a useful marker for the diagnosis of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ul is found sufficient for staining 1 million PBMCs in 100ul staining volume or 0.1ml whole blood Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
