- The antibody specifically binds to the 55kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein known as the low-affinity interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain subunit (IL2Ra, CD25). CD25 is expressed on regulatory T cells and on activated lymphocytes (T and B) and monocytes. CD25 expression on T and B lymphocytes is upregulated by antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤0.5ug/1x10e6 cells in 100ul of staining volume followed by staining with any fluorescent conjugated streptavidin Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
