Extra Details:: CD117 is a 145kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein in the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family. The CD117 antigen is also known as c-kit and stem cell factor receptor (SCFR). The CD117 antigen is expressed primarily on hematopoietic progenitor cells, mast cells and neural crest-derived melanocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ul is sufficient for staining of 1 million cells in a 100ul staining volume or 100ul of whole blood followed by any fluorochrome conjugated streptavidin Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
