Extra Details:: Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase O is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase containing a single intracellular catalytic domain with a characteristic signature motif. The gene product, which has a transmembrane domain, is an integral membrane protein. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants, some of which encode different isoforms of the protein, have been described. These variants exhibit tissue-specific expression. The human GLEPP1 gene predicts a protein of 1188aa. The 1159aa predicted mature protein contains a large extracellular domain, a single transmembrane domain, and a single intracellular PTPase domain. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
