Extra Details:: S.phocae is a Gram-positive, non-spore forming, facultative anaerobic cocci. It is the causative agent of an acute disease on fish species characterized by haemorrhages on the skin and different organs and muscle. This disease can lead to high mortality with significant economic losses. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:500 ELISA: 1: 2000 Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
