Extra Details:: Recombinant monoclonal antibody to CD8 alpha with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma YTS 105.18. This antibody has been reported to block MHC I dependent T cell responses in vitro and in vivo. Can be used to stain for mouse CD8 and can be used to block interaction with CD8. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen) and Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
