Extra Details:
Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Carcinoembryonic Antigen with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the original hybridoma Arcitumomab. Manufactured using a proprietary recombinant platform technology. Not for therapeutic use; this is a research grade biosimilar. Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) describes a set of highly related glycoproteins involved in cell adhesion normally produced in gastrointestinal tissue during fetal development, but only at very low levels in adults. This antibody binds to carcinoembryonic antigen and was used in the diagnosis of mammary carcinomas. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin) and Imaging. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
