Extra Details:: S-Adenosyl-L-homocysteine (SAH) is an aa derivative and an intermediate, by-product, or modulator of several metabolic pathways, including the activated methyl cycle and cysteine biosynthesis. It is also a product of S-adenosyl-methionine (SAM)-dependent methylation of biological molecules, including DNA, RNA, and histones and other proteins. SAH is a risk factor for many diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Dot Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
