Extra Details:: TMIGD1 (transmembrane and immunoglobulin domain containing 1) is a 262aa single-pass membrane protein that contains two Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains (1,2). It is a nonsecreted, glycosylated protein located in the cytoplasm and cell membrane (1). TMIGD1 might be a possible cell-differentiation marker in the intestine, whose expression is lost during cellular transformation and promote progression of tumorigenesis in the intestinal epithelium (2-4). TMIGD1 has also been postulated to play a role in cell adhesion (2). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 20ug/ml Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Rat Liver Tissue Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
