Extra Details:: STIM-1 is a component of the Ca sensor/channel. It associates with ORAI-1 and form a essential complex involved in store-operated channels. STIM1 activates Ca(2+) influx via Orai1 channels. Expression of STIM and Orai proteins are found in many cell types and knock-out mice lack viability. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
