Extra Details:: SOX17 is a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of cell fate (1,2). SOX17 is part of the SoxF subgroup which plays an important role in the differentiation of different cell types, including visceral and definitive endoderm and hematopoietic cell types (3,4). SOX17 is also essential for acquisition and maintenance of arterial identity (5). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 20ug/ml Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HepG2 Cell Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
