Extra Details:: The small nuclear riboprotein-associated protein N (SNRPN) is one polypeptide of a small nuclear ribonucleoprotein complex and belongs to the snRNP SMB/SMN family. SNRPN plays a role in pre-mRNA processing and alternative splicing (1). SNRPN arises from a bicistronic transcript that also encodes a protein identified as the SNRPN upstream reading frame (SNURF) (2). Mutations or deletions in the SNRPN gene may be linked to responsible for Angelman syndrome or Prader-Willi syndrome (3). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 20ug/ml Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: THP-1 Cell Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
