Extra Details:: PHF14, a novel plant homology domain (PHD) transcription factor, controls the proliferation of mesenchymal cells by regulating PDGFR alpha expression in embryonic development. PHD finger transcription factors are concerned with transcriptional regulation by interacting with modified histones, and dysregulation of several genes encoding PHD finger transcription factors, such as ING1 and RBP2, has been found in human cancer diseases suggesting these factors have an important role for cancer cell proliferation. PHF14 is a potential target for new treatments of lung fibrosis. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: 293 Cell Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
