Extra Details:: The Makorin ring finger 3 (MKRN3) protein contains a RING (C3HC4) zinc finger motif and several C3H zinc finger motifs. The MKRN3 gene is intronless and imprinted, with expression only from the paternal allele. Disruption of the imprinting at this locus may contribute to Prader-Willi syndrome (1), but a deletion of the gene does not (2). A deficiency of MKRN3 has been shown to cause central precocious puberty in humans (3). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 20ug/ml Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human Spleen Tissue Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
