Extra Details:: JAKMIP2, also known as neuroendocrine long coiled-coil protein 1 (NECC1), is a member of the JAKMIP family of proteins whose members are thought play a role in JAK1 signaling and the regulation of microtubule cytoskeleton rearrangements. JAKMIP2 is expressed predominantly in neuronal cells but unlike JAKMIP1, JAKMIP2 localizes to the Golgi complex. It has been suggested that JAKMIP2 may play important roles in the control of the regulated secretory pathway. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Mouse Brain Tissue Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
