Extra Details:: The intermediate filament tail domain-containing protein (IFLTD1) was initially identified as a candidate gene for pulmonary adenoma susceptibility 1 gene in mice. Transcripts of the gene were only detected in mouse lung tissue from strains carrying the Pas1-susceptible allele. Expression of different alleles of this gene in lung cancer cell lines resulted in different levels of colony formation in in vitro colony formation assays, suggesting that allelic variants of this gene can modulate growth of human cancer cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Rat Lung Tissue Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
