Extra Details:: Interferon-gamma is a potent multifunctional cytokine which is secreted primarily by activated NK cells and T cells. Originally characterized based on anti-viral activities, IFN-gamma also exerts anti-proliferative, immunoregulatory, and proinflammatory activities. IFN-gamma can upregulate MHC class I and II antigen expression by antigen-presenting cells. IFN-gamma can neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant IFN-gamma. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Neutralization and ELISPOT. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (capture): 0.5-2ug/ml ELISPOT (capture): 1-4ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: acetone-fixed, frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
