Extra Details:: Peroxiredoxin 5, also known as PRDX5, is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduces hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides with reducing equivalents provided through the thioredoxin system. This protein may play an antioxidant protective role in different tissues under normal conditions and during inflammatory processes. It has been reported that peroxiredoxin 5 is involved in intracellular redox signaling. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
