- Extra Details:
- MIG, also known as CXCL9, is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon that is a member of the CXC chemokine family of cytokines. This gene is mapped to 4q21. It is noted that, although the best-described activities of the chemokines are as chemotactic factors, chemokines also have an effect on T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection. While most CXC chemokines are chemotactic for neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are unusual and similar in being CXC chemokines that are chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive in neutrophils. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.1-0.5ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
