- Extra Details:
- G protein-coupled receptor kinase 5 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the GRK5 gene. It is mapped to 10q26.11. This gene encodes a member of the guanine nucleotide- binding protein (G protein)-coupled receptor kinase subfamily of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. The protein phosphorylates the activated forms of G protein-coupled receptors thus initiating their deactivation. It has also been shown to play a role in regulating the motility of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, mmunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.1-0.5Ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1Ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
