Extra Details:: Cyclophilin F (also known as Peptidylprolyl isomerase F, PPIF) is a member of peptidyl-prolyl cis-transisomerase family. They are highly-conserved cytoplasmic enzymes that accelerate protein folding. This protein is part of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Activation of this pore is thought to be involved in the induction of apoptotic and necrotic cell death. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
