Extra Details:: Inhibits urokinase-type plasminogen activator. The monocyte derived PAI-2 is distinct from the endothelial cell-derived PAI-1. Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biologically active was determined by its inhibitory effect against single chain tPA induced cleavage of a chromogenic substrate in Imidazole Buffer at 37 °C. Half maximal inhibition against 1.0ug/ml of single chain tPA was at a concentration of 1.0ug/ml.
