Extra Details:: Tyk2 belongs to the Janus tyrosine kinase family (Tyk2, Jak1, Jak2, and Jak3) that share an overall structural similarity with seven conserved domains and a sequence identity of 35-45%. These kinases have been strongly implicated in the signal transduction of many members of the cytokine receptor family. Tyk2 has been shown to be essential for IFN-a/b receptor function and signal transduction. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:1000 ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
