Extra Details:: TUSC5 (tumor suppressor candidate 5), also known as protein located at seventeen-p-thirteen point three 1, LOST1 or IFITMD3 (interferon-induced transmembrane domain-containing protein D3), is a 177aa multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the CD225 family. Thought to play a role in fat metabolism, TUSC5 is highly expressed in mammary gland, heart, smooth muscle, skeletal muscle and stomach, with lower levels found in lung and brain. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:2000-1:5000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
