Extra Details:: Forms a complex with a KRAB-domain transcription factor and increases the efficiency of KRAB-mediated repression. Silences transcription through an interaction with HP1 proteins. Acts as a corepressor of transcription for the KRAB zinc finger proteins and as a moderator of the repression activity. May play a role as a coactivator for CEBPB and NR3C1 in the transcriptional activation of the Alpha-1-acid glycoprotein gene. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
