- The tyrosylprotein sulfotransferases TPST-1 and TPST-2 catalyze the sulfation of tyrosine residues within secreted and membrane-bound proteins, such as cell adhesion molecules, G-protein-coupled receptors, coagulation factors, serpins, extracellular matrix proteins, and hormones. Although both TPST-1 and TPST-2 utilize 3’-phosphoadenosine 5’-phosphosulfate as their sulfate donor, they differ in their substrate specificity. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000-1:2000 Western Blot: 1:200-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
