- This protein is involved in neurite outgrowth and cell migration in hippocampal explants.It has three EGF-like domains, one fibrinogen C-terminal domain and nine fibronectin type III domains.Tenascins are extracellular matrix proteins present during the development of organisms as well as in pathological conditions.Tenascin-W, the fourth and last member of the tenascin family remains the least well-characterized one. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:3000-1:10,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
