- This gene is Choline transporter. It belongs to the CTL (choline transporter-like) family.May be involved in membrane synthesis and myelin production.It is taken up with high affinity at cholinergic nerve terminals in a sodium-dependent manner.Cloned CTL1, a suppressor for a yeast choline transport mutation, from a Torpedo electric lobe yeast expression library by functional complementation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
