- Extra Details:
- This gene encodes a highly conserved protein with a JmjC domain, which are part of the cupin metalloenzyme superfamily. JmjC proteins may function as 2-oxoglutarate-Fe(II)-dependent dioxygenases. Most tissues also express read-through transcripts from this gene into the downstream phospholipase A2, group IVB (cytosolic) gene, some of which may encode fusion proteins combining the N-terminus of this protein with the phospholipase A2, group IVB protein. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:2000-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
