Extra Details:: Beta-endorphin occurs in cells in the anterior pituitary. Beta-endorphin may be detected in tumors of the pituitary, gastroinestinal and bronchial carcinoids. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, PAP or ABC. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:200 PAP or ABC: 1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Sequence: Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-Thr-Ser-Glu-Lys-Ser-Gln-Thr-Pro-Leu-Val-Thr-Leu-Phe-Lys-Asn-Ala-Ile-Ile-Lys- Asn-Ala-His-Lys-Lys-Gl- Gln Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
