- Desnutrin, an adipocyte gene encoding a novel patatin domain-containing protein, is induced by fasting and glucocorticoids: ectopic expression of desnutrin increases triglyceride hydrolysis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:200 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Sequence: Asp-Arg-Ile-Leu-Glu-His-Leu-Pro-Ala-Arg-Leu-Asn-Glu-Ala-Leu-Leu-Glu-Ala-Cys-Val-Glu-Pro-Lys Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
