Extra Details:: Anorectic peptide regulated by leptin. Cocaine- and amphetamine-regulated transcript (CART) is expressed within hypothalamic nuclei implicated in the regulation of feeding behavior. It is up-regulated by leptin, and CART-derived peptides acutely inhibit food intake. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, PAP or ABC. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:200 PAP or ABC: 1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
