Extra Details:: Immunoreactive with sera from HSV 8-infected individuals with minimum specificity problems. Recombinant protein corresponding to immunodominant region from ORF65 (aa140-170) and N-terminal region from O RF8 (aa32-62) of Herpes Virus 8 Mosaic, fused to GST, expressed in E. coli. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
