Extra Details:: The developmental pluripotency associated 5 (Dppa5) protein is strongly expressed in primordial germ cells, and the expression is down-regulated during germ cell development. Dppa5 is specifically and differentially expressed in human cells that have pluripotency and can be used as a marker of pluripotent stem cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:250 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
