Extra Details:: The developmental pluripotency associated 5 (Dppa5) protein is strongly expressed in primordial germ cells, and the expression is down-regulated during germ cell development. Dppa5 is specifically and differentially expressed in human cells that have pluripotency and can be used as a marker of pluripotent stem cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:250 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
