- Extra Details:
- Serum albumin is the most abundant blood plasma protein and is produced in the liver and forms a large proportion of all plasma protein. The human version is human serum albumin, and it normally constitutes about 60% of human plasma protein. Total Protein: ≥4.6-5.4g/dL (5% solution - Biuret) pH (5%): As Reported Sodium (5%): As Reported Potassium (5%): As Reported Chloride (5%): As Reported Calcium (5%) As Reported Bioburden: ≤100cfu/ml (5% solution) Applications: May be used to solublize lipids and albumin can be used as a blocking agent in Western blots and ELISA applications. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
