Extra Details:: Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) is a 36kD protein which is highly conserved between species. PCNA functions as a co-factor for DNA polymerase delta in S phase and also during DNA synthesis associated with DNA damage repair mechanisms. The PCNA molecule has a half-life in excess of 20 hours, and therefore, may be detected in non-cycling cells eg those in G0 phase. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:250-1:500 Immunohistochemistry(Paraffin): 1:100-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
