Extra Details:: Mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) regulates cell growth, cell proliferation, cell motility, cell survival, protein synthesis, and transcription. It is is activated in response to nutrients, growth factors and cellular energy. Dysregulated mTOR signaling has been implicated in major diseases These include: cancer, metabolic disorders, neurological diseases, and inflammation. For example, findings demonstrate mTOR signaling hyperactivity in Alzheimer's Disease (AD) brains. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:400 Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:400 Immunoprecipitation: 1-4ug/mg lysate Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
