Extra Details:: The metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs) represent a gene family of G-protein-coupled receptors, all of which bind the amino acid glutamate (the major excitatory neurotransmitter of the nervous system) but differ in their primary amino acid structure, their pharmacology, and their distribution in the peripheral and central nervous systems. In general, mGluR1 and mGluR5 receptors are post-synaptic and mGluR2 and mGluR3 receptors are pre-synaptic. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:1000-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1906-10 IgY, Chicken (HRP) Rb x Ch I1906-12 IgY, Chicken (FITC) Rb x Ch I1906-14 IgY, Chicken (AP) Rb x Ch Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
