Extra Details:: Follistatin-like 1 (FSL1) is also known as FSTL1, FRP, Flik, and TSC-36. It is an extracellular glycoprotein belonging to the BM-40/SPARC/Osteonectin family. The protein contains a single cysteine-rich Follistatin module, an extracellular calcium-binding domain, and a region with homology to the von Willebrand Factor C domain. FSL1 was first identified as a TGF-beta-induced protein from a mouse osteoblast cell line. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
