- Ruxolitinib is a potent and selective Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor with with IC50's of 2.7 and 4.5nm for JAK1 and JAK2, respectively. Displays clinically significant activity in myelofibrosis. Antineoplastic, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating agent. Affects DC differentiation and function, leading to impaired T cell activation. Used in the treatment of myeloproliferative neoplasms and psoriasis. Anticancer agent. Shown to induce apoptosis and autophagy. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Light sensitive.
