Extra Details:
Polyaluminium chloride is a chemical compound that is used as a chemical agent to remove organic matter from water. It is also used in the treatment of wastewater and can be used in dry weight calculations. The hydrogen chloride produced by the reaction of aluminium with hydrochloric acid is collected for use in analytical methods or as an industrial chemical. Polyaluminium chloride is also used as a cross-linking agent for the production of resins and plastics, such as polyvinylchloride. The product reacts with sodium carbonate to produce aluminium chloride, which then reacts with hydrochloric acid and particle to produce cross-linked particles. Synonyms: Aluminum chloride hydrate CAS No: 1327-41-9 Dyhydrate: 10124-27-3 Molecular Formula: AlCl3·xH2O Molecular Weight: 133.34 (anhydrous) Purity: ≥99% Appearance: White crystals Titration (EDTA): 9.5-11.5% Melting Point: 100°C (dec.)
