Extra Details:: Protein Kinase C is a family of serine/threonine protein kinases that are activated by Ca2+, diacylglycerol and membrane phospholipids (phosphatidylserine). The antibody MC5 blocks partial proteolysis of PKC by trypsin in vitro. Applications: Suitable for use in RIA, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: P3X63-Ag8 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
