Extra Details:
The N-end rule pathway is one proteolytic pathway of the ubiquitin system. The recognition component of this pathway, encoded by this gene, binds to a destabilizing N-terminal residue of a substrate protein and participates in the formation of a substrate-linked multiubiquitin chain. This leads to the eventual degradation of the substrate protein. The protein described in this record has a RING-type zinc finger and a UBR-type zinc finger. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Johanson-Blizzard syndrome. [provided by RefSeq Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: ADEEAGGTERMEISAELPQTPQRLASWWDQQVDFYTAFLHHLAQLVPEIYFAEMDPDLEKQEESVQMSIFTPLEWYLFGEDPDICLEKLKHSGAFQLCG Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
