- The protein encoded by this gene is similar to a sea urchin radial spoke head protein. Radial spoke protein complexes form part of the axoneme of eukaryotic flagella and are located between the axoneme's outer ring of doublet microtubules and central pair of microtubules. In Chlamydomonas, radial spoke proteins are thought to regulate the activity of dynein and the symmetry of flagellar bending patterns. This gene maps to a region of chromosome 19 that is linked to primary ciliary dyskinesia-2 (CILD2). [provided by RefSeq Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: SQASQRRHSRDQAQALAADPEERQQIPPDAQRNAPGWSQRGSLSQQENLLMPQVFQAEEARLGGMEYPSVNTGFPSEFQPQPYSDESRMQVAE Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
