Extra Details:
Phosphatidylcholine (PC)-specific phospholipases D (PLDs; EC 3.1.4.4) catalyze the hydrolysis of PC to produce phosphatidic acid and choline. A range of agonists acting through G protein-coupled receptors and receptor tyrosine kinases stimulate this hydrolysis. PC-specific PLD activity has been implicated in numerous cellular pathways, including signal transduction, membrane trafficking, and the regulation of mitosis (Hammond et al., 1995 [PubMed 8530346]).[supplied by OMIM Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Amino Acid Sequence: GYLDDPSEDIQDPVSDKFFKEVWVSTAARNATIYDKVFRCLPNDEVHNLIQLRDFINKPVLAKEDPIRAEEELKKIRGFLVQFPFYFLSEESLLPSVGTKEAIVPMEVWT Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
